South Seas Resort Redevelopment | Captiva, Florida
Project Description
Following the devastation caused by Hurricane Irma, Impact Concrete was brought in to support the redevelopment of the iconic South Seas Resort in Captiva, Florida. The project required extensive reconstruction across the property to restore and modernize key facilities.
Impact Concrete constructed over 50,000 square feet of new buildings, including the golf starter building, golf maintenance facility, and the Beach House Restaurant. Our team also performed structural restoration at Harborside Restaurant and Redfish Grill, reinforcing and rebuilding damaged elements.
In addition to vertical construction, we contributed to the development of a new on-site water park featuring arcades, restaurants, restrooms, a lazy river, and extensive site concrete improvements throughout the park.
The remote island location presented significant logistical challenges. All materials, equipment, and ready-mix deliveries required careful coordination from the mainland, making scheduling and concrete placement especially demanding. Despite these constraints, Impact Concrete successfully delivered large-scale structural and site scopes under complex access conditions.
